Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the CFO to review, analyze, and certify financial statements, accounts, and overall company finances.
- Maintain all official financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors, preparing schedules and ensuring seamless audit execution.
- Support management reporting, variance analysis, and budget-to-actual reviews.
- Own and direct the full month-end and year-end close processes, meeting tight reporting deadlines.
- Review general ledger activity for accuracy, balance sheet integrity, and proper expense allocation.
- Perform complex balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and account analyses.
- Oversee and reconcile operational sub-ledgers, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Lead accounting operations for multi-SKU product lines across inventory, distribution, and warehouse touchpoints.
- Reconcile physical inventory counts to general ledger balances, investigating and resolving variances.
- Monitor product costing, inventory valuation, cost rolls, and revaluations.
- Partner with supply chain, warehouse, and plant operations to ensure sound inventory controls and tracking.
- Act as the internal subject matter expert for the JD Edwards (JDE) ERP platform, optimizing workflows and reporting capabilities.
