Position Details
- Assignment Length: 3–6 months (potential to extend)
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
- Goods Receiving & Dock Operations: Go onto the loading dock and plant floor to inspect incoming products, verify material accuracy, and process goods receipts.
- System & Data Entry: Log incoming materials and manage records in SAP (on-the-job software training will be provided).
- Logistics & Scheduling: Coordinate pickup requests, manage customer portals, monitor email communications, and ensure union team members load/unload materials correctly.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely within an immediate team of 3, alongside an additional supporting team of 3.
- Attributes: High grit, organizational skills, and comfortable juggling desk work with plant-floor activity.
- Physical Demands: No heavy lifting required (union staff handles heavy lifting; lifting limit < 25 lbs).
