- Execute Receiving Inspection for incoming mechanical parts.
- Perform in-house calibration tasks to ensure equipment accuracy.
- Facilitate the MRB Process by creating Discrepant Material Report (DMR) paperwork and processing workflows.
- Liaise with suppliers to request RMAs and verify ETE (End-to-End) and rework processes.
- Support the Quality Manager with specialized tasks as assigned.
- Perform in-process and final inspections for both mechanical and electrical assemblies.
- Assist in the Internal Audit System by performing Quality System, Process, and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) audits.

- Experience: Minimum of one year of quality-related experience OR one year of proven coordinating/administrative experience.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent; must be able to work safely in a shop environment.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word). Experience with ERP/MRP systems is highly desired.
- Communication: strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to read and write fluently in English.
- Physical Demands: * Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 lbs.

Summary
Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality Technician I monitors, conducts, and maintains essential Quality Department functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all products—from incoming components to final assemblies—meet rigorous internal and external standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspections: Perform visual in-process inspections (e.g., torque witness, electrical crimp connectors) and final inspections of completed products and sub-assemblies.
- Technical Assessment: Conduct incoming mechanical inspections and sort parts for quality issues.
- Calibration: Coordinate and perform the calibration of measurement equipment and maintain the master calibration log.
- Material Control: Maintain and coordinate the Material Review Board (MRB) process and the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) location.
- Documentation: Record inspection and test results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records.
