Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 10+ years of experience specifically building injection molds.
- Education: AAS (2-year) degree in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent.
- Technical Savvy: Proficient in CAD/CAM software and Microsoft Office.
- Mathematics: strong working knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, and algebra.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical: Ability to stand/walk for shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ownership: Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Responsibilities
- Build new tools for our customers; interpret drawings to develop build plan.
- Troubleshoot molds in collaboration with process engineers.
- Inspects completed tools for signs of imperfection or damage that may affect functionality.
- Uses tools to build fixtures; creates dies as required to construct new fixtures.
- Repairs and maintains molds and fixtures when needed; disassembles molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures, then cleans and reassembles when repaired.
- Reads and understands blueprints and complicated schematics as required to create and build new fixtures, tools, and machine parts.
- Uses computer-aided design (CAD) software to create designs and/or turn designs into blueprints.
- Use computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software to program CNC machines.
- Operates a variety of manual and automatic machines, such as: Haas Mills and Lathes, Makino EDMs, surface grinders, etc.
