Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor sanitation technicians.
  
  
• Develop sanitation schedules and assignments.
  
  
• Conduct performance evaluations and handle disciplinary actions.
  
  
• Manage time-off requests and staffing levels.
  
  
• Lead team meetings to communicate updates and best practices.
  
  
• Oversee cleaning of equipment, facilities, and utensils per SSOPs.
  
  
• Develop and enforce sanitation procedures in compliance with USDA, FDA, HACCP, GMP, BRC, SQF.
  
  
• Monitor sanitation effectiveness using ATP testing, inspections, and swabs.
  
  
• Troubleshoot sanitation issues and implement corrective actions.
  
  
• Manage sanitation chemicals and ensure safe handling.
  
  
• Prepare for internal/external audits with accurate documentation.
  
  
• Maintain sanitation records (logs, schedules, training, chemical use).
