Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor sanitation technicians.
- Develop sanitation schedules and assignments.
- Conduct performance evaluations and handle disciplinary actions.
- Manage time-off requests and staffing levels.
- Lead team meetings to communicate updates and best practices.
- Oversee cleaning of equipment, facilities, and utensils per SSOPs.
- Develop and enforce sanitation procedures in compliance with USDA, FDA, HACCP, GMP, BRC, SQF.
- Monitor sanitation effectiveness using ATP testing, inspections, and swabs.
- Troubleshoot sanitation issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage sanitation chemicals and ensure safe handling.
- Prepare for internal/external audits with accurate documentation.
- Maintain sanitation records (logs, schedules, training, chemical use).
