Responsibilities
The Air Import / Export Team is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the air export team, including coordinating with airlines, freight forwarders, and other service providers. This role requires leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of air freight logistics and regulations.
- Coordinate daily activities of the air import and export team, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of cargo
- Provide Quotes, status update follows up with customer thought the day (verbally or written)
- Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and other service providers to ensure smooth and timely delivery of cargo
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of service delivery
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, improve service quality, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as cargo delivery times, costs, and quality
