Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Layout, install, and repair complex electrical equipment, including high-tension switchboards, automatic controls, and relay systems.
- Plant Wiring: Maintain all plant-wide wiring, including signal telephones, loudspeaker systems, and lighting circuits.
- Controls & Switches: Manage push-button controls, switches, cord sets, and industrial electronics.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections to prevent system breakdowns and ensure operational continuity.
- Troubleshooting: Identify hazards or malfunctions in electrically controlled equipment and execute effective repairs.
- Inventory Management: Recommend and order necessary spare parts and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as an electrician (Industrial experience is a major plus).
- Education: Verifiable, formal training in electrical theory and safety.
- Automation Skills: strong knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and repair. Familiarity with Rockwell Automation SLCS00 is a plus.
- Electrical Mastery: Deep understanding of industrial motor control (AC/DC), inverter drives, holding circuits, and overload protection.
