One of our clients in Springfield, NJ is looking for a Quality Inspector to ensure only conforming products are shipped to customers or added to finished goods inventory. This role is essential for maintaining precision and quality through final visual and dimensional inspections.

Job Details

• Pay Rate: $24 – $26/hr.
• Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
• Overtime: Potential for 10-hour shifts as needed.
• Location: Springfield, NJ.

What You’ll Do

• Inspection: Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming and outgoing parts to check for defects such as cracks, chips, or scratches.
• Precision Measurement: Use various tools including micrometers, calipers, and CMM (manual/digital) to verify coating thickness and part dimensions.
• Documentation: Fill out routers, record inspection results, and complete required paperwork to ensure quality records are retained.
• Technical Review: Read and interpret drawings and customer purchase orders to ensure all requirements are understood and met.
• Verification: Confirm part and serial numbers match customer paperwork and ensure quantity is correct.

What You’ll Need

• Technical Skills: Ability to make accurate measurements using gauges, vernier scales, and rules.
• Detail Oriented: skills in completing paperwork and following strict quality procedures.
• Basic Math: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
