Responsibilities
As an Operations Dispatcher, you are the primary link between our customers' needs and our drivers' wheels. You will manage the board, mitigate risks, and ensure every shipment is accounted for from dock to business.
- Orchestrate domestic pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring every route is optimized and every driver is operating strictly within DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
- Serve as the professional voice of CEVA, handling inquiries from a diverse customer base and providing clear, actionable instructions to drivers
- Manage high-priority, time-sensitive cargo with a "failure is not an option" mindset, ensuring deadlines are met through aggressive monitoring and coordination.
- Own the integrity of our database. You will be responsible for high-speed, accurate data entry to ensure shipment status is visible to stakeholders in real-time.
- While your primary focus is dispatch, you are part of a lean team. You’ll support the warehouse by verifying freight counts, checking cargo condition, and ensuring labels are 100% accurate before departure.
- Professional-level verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
- A strong understanding of inventory math (cargo volume, counts, and basic calculations) and the ability to visualize geographical routes efficiently.
