Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines using HAAS
- controls
- Modify and optimize existing CNC programs at the machine as needed
- Select, install, and adjust cutting tools and tooling offsets
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet dimensional and tolerance
- requirements
- Inspect finished and in-process parts using precision measuring equipment
- such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs (if applicable)
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and
- efficiency
- Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programs, or materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures
- Document inspection results and production data as required
