- Rate: $25.00/hr
- Shift: Monday – Friday | 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM
- Status: Temp-to-Hire (Long-term career opportunity!)
- EIGA Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor EIGA machinery to atomize metal electrodes into fine powders.
- Process Management: Adjust parameters like gas flow, temperature, and pressure while following SMPs for start-up and shutdown.
- Material Handling: Prepare raw materials (Titanium, Niobium, etc.), weigh inputs/outputs, and ensure strict material segregation to prevent contamination.
- Quality & Maintenance: Perform in-process inspections of particle size, conduct routine cleaning, and replace worn parts like seals and nozzles.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of material yields, batch details, and process parameters.
- Experience: Proven background in manufacturing or industrial production with strong problem-solving skills.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand throughout the duration of the shift.
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or higher degree/certification.
- Safety: Must be comfortable following strict PPE protocols, including respirators and FR clothing, for high-temperature/inert gas operations.

Responsibilities
1. EIGA Equipment Operation
- Set up, operate, and monitor the EIGA equipment to convert metal electrodes into fine metal powders.
- Perform equipment start-up, calibration, and shutdown in accordance with Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMP).
- Adjust process parameters (e.g., gas flow, temperature, and pressure) to ensure optimal atomization conditions.
- Handle and prepare raw materials, including titanium, niobium and other material electrodes, for atomization.
- Weigh and document material inputs and outputs (e.g., electrode starting weight, stub weights, and powder weights) per Work Orders (WO).
- Ensure proper storage and segregation of materials to prevent contamination.
- Perform in-process inspections and measurements of powder particle size and distribution to ensure conformity with quality specifications.
- Record weights and material yields for each trial, including stubs, recovered material, and finished powder.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) team to address any deviations or nonconformances.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of EIGA equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Inspect and replace worn or damaged parts, including seals, and nozzles.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report any equipment issues to the Production Supervisor.
- Accurately document all production data, including material weights and batch details.
