Job Summary
We are is seeking a detail-oriented Equipment Technician to join the Materiel Management department at Mountain View Hospital. This role is primarily responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of hospital materiel, including receiving, inventory management, and distribution. While based in the Distribution Department, the technician may be cross-trained across various Materiel Management functions to ensure seamless hospital operations.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, store, and manage inventory using computerized tracking systems.
- Distribution: Accurately distribute processed materiel and supplies to various hospital departments.
- Documentation: Maintain precise records of stock levels, copies, and distribution logs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Central Supply team and communicate effectively with physicians and surgical staff to meet departmental needs.
- Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: * Minimum 1+ year of experience working in a Central Supply Department.
- Minimum 1+ year of experience utilizing a computerized inventory management system.
- Skills: * strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to engage professionally with diverse healthcare staff, including high-level clinical personnel.
- High level of organizational skill and attention to detail.
