Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Press Maintenance: Services and maintains industrial press machinery, ensuring all safety guards and hydraulic/mechanical systems are functional.
- CNC Support: Performs CNC troubleshooting and repair; works directly with the team to build new tooling and equipment, including initial setup and first-run production.
- Systems Design: Helps design electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and new equipment; consults with personnel regarding equipment capacity and requirements.
- Electrical Expertise: Analyzes electrical schematic problems and routinely works with voltages from 120-480V AC and 90-25V DC controls; designs and installs conduit and circuits.
- General Maintenance: Repairs equipment as needed and performs arc and wire feed welding.
- Preventative Maintenance: Directs and performs routine preventative maintenance functions to minimize downtime.
- Facility Care: Provides maintenance for buildings and grounds, ensuring the department is organized, clean, and compliant with all safety procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, plus trade school training in machining or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience maintaining manual or CNC lathes, mills, saws, and presses.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate others.
- Solid electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical design capabilities.
- Excellent electrical aptitude and the ability to read complex blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Previous experience with OSHA Safety Standards, including Lockout/Tagout and Hazcom.

Responsibilities

schedules.

pneumatic, and mechanical requirements and capacities.
Helps design electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and new equipment.

Repairs equipment as needed. Helps make or find precision parts and fabricate fixtures
and machinery.
Performs arc and wire feed welding.

Directs and performs routine preventative maintenance functions.
