Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures on high-speed extrusion lines to minimize downtime.
- PLC & Electrical: Use ladder logic to troubleshoot sensors/IOs and repair electrical systems up to 480V (including VFDs and motors).
- Fluid Power: Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems (pumps, valves, and cylinders).
- Mechanical Upkeep: Service gearboxes, drive chains, bearings, and conveyor systems.
- Interpret Tech Docs: Read and follow electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and pneumatic diagrams.
- Preventative Maintenance: Complete scheduled PMs and document all work in the tracking system.
- Safety First: Strictly follow Lockout/Tagout and all OSHA safety protocols.
