Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication & Assembly: Read and interpret complex blueprints and welding symbols to accurately layout, position, and secure parts.
- Welding Excellence: Perform high-quality welds using [MIG / TIG / ARC] processes on various materials including [Steel, Aluminum, Stainless Steel].
- Technical Setup: Operate and calibrate welding equipment, including adjusting voltage, amperage, and gas flow rates to meet material specifications.
- Preparation: Use grinders, torches, and plasma cutters to prep joints; ensure all surfaces are clean and free of contaminants.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct visual inspections of completed welds to identify and correct defects such as porosity, undercut, or slag inclusions.
- Safety Leadership: Maintain a clean, organized "hot zone" and strictly adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols, including the consistent use of PPE.
- Experience: 3 years of professional welding experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Technical Skill: Proficiency in multiple welding positions (Flat, Horizontal, Vertical, Overhead).
- Math Skills: Ability to perform basic shop math and use precision measuring tools (calipers, tape measures).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to [50] lbs and stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods.
- Certifications: AWS certification or a degree from a technical school is a major plus.

Responsibilities

- Finishing: Remove slag and debris using grinders and wire brushes for a clean finish.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a safe workspace and perform routine upkeep on welding gear.
