This position works in a Metal Shop and will perform responsibilities on the Press Brake, Turret as well as general labor duties. Set up and operate turret press to load program, set up tooling, load blanks, unload product to perform a variety of general secondary operations. Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years experience as a Press Brake Operator
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
• Requires general knowledge of sheet metal fabricating and assembly practices.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills and effective organizational skills.
• Ability to understand blueprints, schematics and instrumentation diagrams.
• Understanding of all tools, gages, equipment and other various instruments used to perform position.

Responsibilities

• Operate and Setup Press Brake equipment.
• Form various parts and assemblies to print.
• Load tooling into turret. Inspect and adjust punch length and die height.
• Starts press and observes operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
• Fabricate and modify sheet metal components to meet design specifications.
• Work with engineering to improve the manufacture of new and modified parts.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
