We are seeking a Materials Lead for a top manufacturing client. This is a hands-on working role where you will actively support warehouse operations while guiding the floor team to ensure efficient, on-time material flow. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay: $27 – $30/hr (Full-Time Hourly)
Key Responsibilities
- Operations: Support daily receiving, shipping, and accurate kitting per production schedules/BOMs.
- Inventory: Drive ERP transactions, perform cycle counts, and safely operate forklifts.
- Leadership: Coordinate daily tasks, troubleshoot issues, and train team members on the floor.
- 3+ years of warehouse/materials experience (manufacturing environment & Lean/5S preferred).
- Solid ERP experience and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a shop environment and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities
- Actively participate in unloading, inspecting, and documenting inbound shipments against purchase orders, while coordinating outbound picking, packing, freight staging, and daily pickups.
- Build accurate kits according to production schedules and Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring on-time delivery to the floor and proactively communicating any shortages.
- Execute timely material movements, storage handling, and routine cycle counts while logging precise inventory data and transactions into the ERP system.
- Coordinate daily tasks and priorities, train and support team members, lead by example on the floor, and escalate operational issues to the Materials Manager.
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment, maintain clean warehouse standards, and directly resolve receiving discrepancies with Purchasing and Quality departments.
