- Education & Experience: High school diploma (or equivalent) and 2–4 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
- Technical Skills: knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and ability to work with voltages from 5V DC to 480V AC.
- Systems & Diagrams: Understanding of PLC ladder logic; ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Skilled in assembling/aligning gears, bearings, and shafts, and maintaining pipe systems.
- Core Competencies: Excellent problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
- Physical & Safety: Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and lift heavy objects. Solid understanding of safety regulations; forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct inspections and perform scheduled PM work on machinery according to ISO guidelines to prevent breakdowns and unsafe conditions.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Promptly respond to emergency maintenance requests; diagnose and repair equipment using proper tools and safety techniques.
- Parts Management: Research, order, and prepare required spare parts, ensuring cost-effective sourcing solutions.
- Safety & Housekeeping: Adhere strictly to Lock-out/Tag-out procedures. Maintain a clean work environment, including cleaning the shop and parts area daily.
- Collaboration: Report potential issues to the Maintenance Manager. Interact professionally with co-workers, managers, and external vendors.
- Documentation: Use basic computer skills to complete work orders and log maintenance tasks within a CMMS.
- Other Duties: Operate a forklift as needed and perform other facility duties as assigned.
