- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Analyze mechanical issues and promptly repair or replace defective components to minimize downtime.
- System Overhauls: Clean, repair, rebuild, and lubricate aseptic pumps and related mechanical equipment.
- Sterilization Support: Assist with equipment start-ups, shutdowns, Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems, and air/hydro testing.
- Sterility Validation: Sterilize all aseptic plant vessels, including fillers and flash coolers, executing all tasks necessary to ensure process sterility.
- Continuous Inspection: Monitor all active aseptic systems and infrastructure while the plant is operational.
- Area Cleanliness: Maintain clean, debris-free workspaces and perform general grounds or equipment sanitation following maintenance work.
- Safety Protocols: Strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Hot Works, safety guidelines, and HACCP procedures.
- Shift Handovers: Conduct thorough shift pass-downs with oncoming mechanics to ensure operational continuity.
- Documentation: Complete, verify, and file all repair logs and operational paperwork at the end of each shift.
- Collaboration: Recommend performance improvements for electrical/mechanical methods and assist coworkers with equipment troubleshooting.
