If you have a sharp eye for detail, can read blueprints like a pro, and know how to tweak a CNC program to get the perfect bend, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:
- Set Up & Operate: Run the CNC Brake Press to bend custom and standard steel components.
- On-Machine Programming: Input basic parameters and make minor program adjustments at the controller to keep parts within strict tolerances.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret fabrication blueprints, sketches, and work orders.
- Quality Control: Check your own work using calipers and tape measures to ensure superior quality.
- Material Handling: Use forklifts and hand tools to safely move and organize materials and finished parts.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of CNC Brake Press experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
- Tech Savvy: Ability to make minor programming adjustments at the machine and comfortable using a computer.
- Precision: Highly accurate with a tape measure and calipers; blueprint reading skills.
- Safety & Teamwork: A positive attitude, great communication skills, and a "safety-first" mindset. Lift truck/forklift experience is a major plus.

Responsibilities
- Machine Operation & Setup: Operate Brake Press to bend custom and standard steel components according to work orders, blueprints, and templates.
- On-Machine Programming: Input basic parameters and make minor programming adjustments or corrections directly at the CNC controller to ensure accurate bend tolerances.
- Material & Blueprint Reading: Gather materials for work orders; read and interpret blueprints, sketches, elevations, and templates accurately.
- Quality Control: Utilize calipers, tape measures, and check-bends to document and ensure superior part quality.
- Material Handling & Logistics: Safely operate forklifts and hand tools to move, handle, and organize completed parts.
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
