Responsibilities
Interpret technical drawings and specifications (Blueprint Reading)
Work collaboratively with QA team members and other departments.
Inspect, test, and measure products (receiving, first piece, in-process, final) and process.
Communicate inspection results to manufacturing and engineering departments as necessary.
Proficient in the use of measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages, optical comparators, force
testers, and hardness testers.
Populate work order travelers with inspection documents.
Calibrate and verify measurement devices.
Generate NCM reports for products or processes that fail to meet specifications.
Report production metrics using the ERP system.
Collect, analyze, and retain QMS records to ensure compliance with QMS.
Participate in layered process audit program.
Create Certificates of Conformance (CoC) and send them to customers.
Identify and suggest opportunities for improvement
