Responsibilities

I. Strategic Order Execution & Material Handling: Skilled in accurately executing picking instructions (from scanners or paper) to select precise case quantities. This includes constructing stable, well-organized pallets using optimized weight distribution and interlocking patterns to prevent product damage during transit. The ability to visualize spatial requirements for optimizing volumetric space is crucial.



II. Safe Equipment Operation & Logistics: Competent in the safe, efficient operation of manual and electric pallet jacks to navigate tight warehouse aisles, manage staged loads, and move inventory to assigned locations or outbound docks. Quick recognition of warehouse slotting and organization is required.



III. High-Level Accuracy & Quality Control: Possesses attention to detail for continuous visual verification of SKU and quantity while picking to prevent shortages. Must demonstrate vigilance in identifying product damages or quality issues and follow protocols to report shortages and deficiencies immediately.



IV. Physicality & Efficiency: The stamina and dexterity required for sustained bending, reaching, and repeated lifting of individual cases (up to 50 lbs) throughout the shift. This must be maintained while meeting high productivity standards (picks per hour) in a fast-paced environment.
