We are seeking a licensed Blue Seal Boiler Operator & Mechanic to lead our night shift operations. You will be the primary guardian of our utility systems, ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of our high-pressure steam plant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Operations: Safely operate, monitor, and maintain (2) 500HP Fire Tube high-pressure steam boilers and auxiliary equipment in strict compliance with state and local codes.
• System Diagnostics & Testing: Conduct routine water chemistry tests, analyze boiler operations, and adjust systems to maximize fuel efficiency and safety.
• Preventative & Corrective Maintenance: Perform routine PMs, inspections, and hands-on repairs on boilers, air compressors, pumps, valves, and piping networks.
• Rapid Breakdown Response: Troubleshoot mechanical failures, identify root causes, and execute swift repairs to minimize plant downtime.
• Compliance & Logging: Maintain highly accurate, up-to-date boiler room logs, maintenance records, and safety documentation.
• Plant Support: Collaborate with the production team, assisting with general facility mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Safety First: Strictly adhere to and champion safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA guidelines.
