Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable CDL Class A Driver for a 1st-shift local route position. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering liquid bulk and hazardous materials safely to regional customer locations. Enjoy consistent daytime scheduling, dedicated local routes, and returning home every single night.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over established local routes while adhering to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in safe, optimal working condition.
- Safely load, unload, and transfer liquid bulk and hazardous products using pumps, hoses, and monitoring equipment.
- Accurately manage and maintain transport documentation, including bills of lading, HAZMAT manifests, and electronic driver logs.
- Maintain professional communication with dispatchers, customer representatives, and site supervisors.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) in good standing.
- Active Tanker (N) and HAZMAT (H or X) Endorsements required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience (tanker/HAZMAT delivery experience strongly preferred).
- Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card (or willingness to obtain).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and clean safety history.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
- Consistent 1st-shift schedule with daily home time.
