Responsibilities
- Mechanical Build: Assemble precision parts, subassemblies, and final machine systems using hand and power tools.
- Fitting and Alignment: Perform scraping, alignment, and fine-adjustments of tight-tolerance mechanical components.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, mechanical schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Quality Control: Use precision measuring instruments (such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators) to verify conformance to strict tolerances.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical fit or assembly issues and recommend process adjustments.
