In this full-time role on the Day Shift (flexible start between 5:00 AM and 8:00 AM), you will setup, operate, and optimize precision machining operations utilizing Swiss-style CNC lathes, advanced metrology, and cutting-tool conditioning equipment. This position requires an exceptional eye for detail and expertise in handling extremely small, high-precision turned components.

Responsibilities
- CNC Operation & Setup: Perform full machine setups on CNC Swiss-style lathes, including tool selection, offset setting, program verification, and first-article inspections.
- In-Process Quality Control: Conduct in-process adjustments to tooling, feeds, speeds, and offsets to maintain tight tolerances and dimensional control.
- Process Troubleshooting: Proactively identify and resolve machining issues, tool wear, machine alarms, surface finish flaws, and dimensional variations.
- Tooling Maintenance: Grind, sharpen, and recondition carbide and High-Speed Steel (HSS) cutting tools to exact specifications.
- Metrology & Inspection: Utilize advanced measurement tools to perform detailed product inspections, keeping accurate quality and production logs.
- Operational Excellence: Perform routine preventative maintenance checks, follow GD&T drawings, and identify opportunities for continuous process and cycle-time improvement.
- Safety & Workplace Standards: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized machine shop while escalating quality, safety, or equipment concerns as necessary.
