Are you experienced in manufacturing or assembly and comfortable working with electronics, wiring, and small components? We are hiring Electronic Assemblers for an established Long Island manufacturer offering an opportunity to develop your skills and grow your experience.
This position is primarily focused on electronic and mechanical assembly, with some soldering involved.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies
- Install wiring, connectors, hardware, and other components
- Follow blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and assembly specifications
- Perform wiring, stripping, crimping, and component installation
- Perform basic soldering as needed
- Use hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, soldering irons, and assembly equipment
- Inspect completed work for quality and proper workmanship
- Follow ESD, safety, quality, and production procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Previous assembly, electronics, wiring, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Soldering experience is a plus
- Comfortable using hand tools and working with small components
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and assembly drawings
- Attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and a willingness to learn
salary: $55,000 - $80,000 per year
