Randstad is currently hiring Electronic Assemblers for an established Long Island electronics manufacturer. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented candidates with experience working with small components, wiring, hand tools, and electronic assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies
- Install wiring, connectors, hardware, and other components
- Follow blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and assembly specifications
- Perform wiring, stripping, crimping, and component installation
- Perform basic soldering as needed
- Use hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, soldering irons, and assembly equipment
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality and workmanship
- Follow ESD, safety, quality, and production procedures
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation
- Previous electronic, mechanical, or manufacturing assembly experience
- Experience using hand tools and working with small components
- Basic wiring and crimping experience preferred
- Basic soldering experience is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and drawings
- Attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and willingness to learn
salary: $45,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components into finished products and subassemblies
- Install hardware, brackets, wiring, connectors, terminals, and other components
- Perform soldering of wires, terminals, connectors, and electronic components
- Complete wire preparation including cutting, stripping, crimping, tinning, and terminating
- Use hand tools, power tools, soldering irons, crimpers, wire strippers, and torque tools
- Read and follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions
- Fit, align, fasten, and secure components according to specifications
- Perform bench assembly and detailed component installation
- Inspect solder joints and assembled components for quality and workmanship
- Perform basic rework, adjustments, and component replacement as needed
- Verify completed assemblies are built correctly before moving to the next stage
- Maintain accurate production and assembly documentation
- Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
- Maintain an organized workstation and meet daily production goals
