About the Role Are you a hands-on problem solver with manufacturing experience? We are looking for a dedicated Process Technician I to join our team in Tullahoma, TN!
In this role, you will support safe and efficient manufacturing. Your daily focus will involve monitoring production processes, troubleshooting equipment, optimizing molding operations, and supporting production, maintenance, and quality objectives.
What You’ll Do (Essential Responsibilities)
- Safety First: Ensure that employee safety takes precedence over all job duties.
- Process Management: Monitor and adjust cycle times and production processes.
- Troubleshooting & Improvement: Troubleshoot equipment and support process improvements.
- Monitoring & Testing: Conduct process monitoring, sampling, testing, and equipment preparation.
- Maintenance & Quality: Support maintenance and preventative maintenance activities, while continuously monitoring product quality and customer specifications.
- Mold Changes & Validation: Assist with mold changes, trial runs, and process validation.
- Operational Support: Support production during breaks and changing business needs, and install and support manufacturing equipment as needed.
- Work Environment: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, and perform additional duties as assigned.
- A minimum of one year of manufacturing experience.
- The flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and adjacent shift coverage as needed.
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- A strong commitment to reliability, maintaining a 95% or better attendance record.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 75 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, stoop, grasp, manipulate small parts, and operate hand and power tools.
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
