Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical systems: Build electronic components, wire harnesses, and control modules according to provided engineering blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Execute precision soldering: Perform detailed soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electrical connections to ensure durable, vibration-resistant vehicle controls.
- Operate manufacturing tools: Safely and efficiently use standard hand and power tools, including wire crimpers, strippers, drills, and torque screwdrivers.
- Conduct quality testing: Perform basic functional testing and quality control inspections using multimeters and diagnostic test fixtures to verify product performance.
- Troubleshoot defects: Identify, document, and report any inconsistencies, damaged components, or assembly issues to the production supervisor.
- Enforce safety standards: Maintain a clean, organized workstation while strictly adhering to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safety protocols and facility guidelines.
- Manage production documentation: Track daily production output, log component inventory usage, and ensure all manufacturing paperwork is completed accurately.
- Collaborate on production goals: Work closely with the broader Auburn manufacturing and engineering teams to meet daily quotas and uphold InterMotive's high quality standards.
