Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Cycle Counting: Perform routine inventory cycle counts across hot and cold storage environments (refrigerated, freezer, and non-temperature-controlled areas).
- Data & System Entry: Utilize inventory management systems, databases, and spreadsheets to accurately track stock levels, movements, and discrepancies.
- Audit & Reconciliation: Investigate count variances, report stock shortages or overages, and maintain clear audit trails for production supplies and finished goods.
- Stock Verification: Verify item tags, lot numbers, date labels, and storage locations to ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO) and food safety compliance.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Communicate inventory updates and stock availability to warehouse, production, and recruitment site supervisors.
