We are looking for a reliable, detailed Industrial Electrician & Maintenance Technician to oversee the installation, repair, and operational integrity of our plant machinery and physical facility.
In this pivotal role, you will diagnose automated metalworking machinery, maintain high-voltage power distribution, and ensure all facility electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and up to code. You will join a supportive maintenance team dedicated to minimizing downtime, maintaining high safety standards, and keeping our production lines running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Installation & Wiring: Plan and execute electrical circuit installations (120VAC, 230VAC, 480VAC) based on machine nameplate specifications. Bend and run conduit, mount breaker panels and junction boxes, and perform wire terminations.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose issues on automated metalworking machinery, maintain plant lighting systems, and service main switchgear panels.
- Documentation & Mapping: Maintain single-line electrical diagrams, accurately trace circuits, and update panel indexes.
- Facility & Mechanical Support: Perform basic fabrication and mechanical repairs using power tools (drills, saws). Assist with general plant maintenance tasks.
- Digital Work Orders & 5S: Use CMMS software to process work orders, source replacement parts, and maintain strict 5S organization across all areas.
- knowledge of industrial electrical standards, local codes, electrical fundamentals, and arc flash safety protocols.
- Demonstrated experience with automated machinery troubleshooting, mechanical systems, basic PLCs, and fabrication.
- Proficiency with standard hand tools, power tools, and digital work-order management systems.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Current South Carolina Master Electrician License.

Responsibilities

- Ability to use basic hand tools including saws, drills and other common tools.
- Assist other areas of facility maintenance when necessary.
- Work within a team environment to achieve the current goal for facility maintenance.
- Ability to use computer systems to use work order system and find repair parts.
- Maintain 5s in all maintenance and facility areas.
