We are a leading manufacturer of high-precision industrial machinery (such as industrial folding machines and press brakes) seeking a skilled Industrial Machinery Setup Tech to join our team in Peachtree City, GA.
This is primarily an in-house position (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm), not a field role, though with occasional travel (up to 20% in the first year for advanced field training and customer support).

- Machine Assembly & Configuration: Configure new industrial machines to customer specifications, including mechanical and electrical parts installation.
- Quality Control & Testing: Analyze, troubleshoot, and perform quality checks on new, used, and rebuilt machinery.
- Trade Show & Demo Prep: Stage and set up equipment for live customer demonstrations and industry trade shows.
- Technical Support: Collaborate with sales, warehouse, customer service, and international technical engineering teams to source parts and resolve technical inquiries.
- Inventory & Staging: Identify mechanical/electrical parts, inspect incoming equipment against Bills of Materials (BOMs), and maintain a clean, safe service facility.
- Technical Background: 2-year mechanical/trade degree OR 2+ years of hands-on experience servicing, repairing, or installing industrial equipment.
- Mechanical & Electrical Aptitude: Hands-on experience using diagnostic tools, reading technical manuals, schematics, and mechanical/electrical drawings.
- Troubleshooting Abilities: Excellent detail orientation with a proven track record of diagnosing and repairing machine tools or complex mechanical systems.
- Communication & Software: Clear written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and 3-D CAD software a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, climb, and work under machinery. Ability to pass a basic mechanical/electrical skills assessment.
