Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Setup, adjust, and operate manual, semi-automatic, or automatic heat press machines and digital transfer printers.
- Production Preparation: Load materials, position heat transfers/decals accurately, and ensure correct alignment before pressing.
- Parameter Control: Monitor and adjust machine settings, including heat temperatures, pressure, and dwell time, tailored to specific fabric or substrate types.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect printed/pressed items for defectives, misalignments, color accuracy, peeling, or scorched fabric.
- Order Tracking: Read work orders/job tickets to verify garment quantities, placement specifications, and deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic daily maintenance and cleaning on heat presses and printers; clear jams and report technical malfunctions promptly.
- Inventory & Staging: Organize finished goods for quality checks, folding, packing, and shipping. Keep work stations clean and safe.
