Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate stand-up reach trucks, double-pallet electric walkie riders, , and order pickers in high-bay racking systems (up to 30+ feet).
- Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Load and unload trailers, trucks, and rail cars using double pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Order Selecting & Staging: Efficiently pick customer orders using RF scanners, voice-picking systems, or pick sheets; stage pallets in designated loading lanes.
- Putaway & Replenishment: Transport palletized stock from receiving areas to designated high-rack storage locations; replenish pick slots as needed.
- Inventory Control: Conduct cycle counts, report damaged goods or missing items, and ensure proper labeling/tagging of incoming and outgoing freight.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform pre-shift safety inspections on assigned equipment (checking batteries, fluid levels, brakes, tires, and hydraulic lift controls); report any mechanical issues to maintenance.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA standards, company safety regulations, PPE guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Warehouse Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by clearing aisles, disposing of shrink wrap/pallets, and staging equipment properly.
