Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, unload deliveries from trucks, and carefully inspect merchandise for any damage.
- Verify that all deliveries accurately match the corresponding Purchase Orders and Packing Lists.
- Store inventory efficiently, maintain strict inventory control, and always know where materials are located.
- Pull merchandise and safely deliver it to internal departments.
- Assist the Shipping Department by locating staged materials waiting for delivery and process outgoing UPS pickups.
- Maintain accurate receiving records using our Receiving System.
- Keep the warehouse environment clean and highly organized.
- Must be certified to operate a forklift.
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately. computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel, to manage receiving tasks.
- Proficiency in professional communication, including email and phone calls.
- Must successfully pass a background screening prior to employment.
salary: $17 - $18 per hour
