The Forklift Operator II is responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse environment. The Operator ensures safe and efficient operation of multiple types of forklift equipment and may also perform order filler or order checker duties as needed, while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and adherence to safety procedures. Employees in this position must spend fifty percent or more of their work time operating these forklifts as part of their core job duties. Responsibilities Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures Possesses basic understanding of equipment safety and adheres to all safety protocols Completes and documents required pre-operation inspection forms for equipment Stacks and stores merchandise in designated rack locations Unloads inbound shipments safely and transports product to assigned storage locations Pulls, stages, and prepares products for outbound shipment Verifies that the correct quantity and product type are loaded and shipped Performs order picking in an accurate, timely, and customer-service-focused manner Moves product from staging or storage areas into trailers for outbound loads Maintains required documentation and reports to support inventory accuracy and product security Assists with physical inventory counts and periodic cycle counts as directed Ensures inventory is rotated in accordance with company standards Identifies and reports inventory discrepancies to the inventory control team and participates in resolution Uses RF scanning devices to support accurate inventory management Reports safety concerns, hazards, or incidents to management promptly Demonstrates basic Excel skills and general computer proficiency to complete required tasks Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management We are requesting 1 experienced operators: One Turret Operator/Multipe Equipment (Must have turret experience).
