Job Description: Looking for a steady 1st-shift schedule that lets you get off early while building a long-term manufacturing career? We are hiring assemblers for a high-growth, industry-leading automotive facility in Decatur, TN. This is a temp-to-hire pathway where hard work and reliability turn into permanent, long-term employment with a company boasting over 50 years of manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Load raw parts and components into automated welding, tapping, and assembly fixtures, then safely unload completed metal fabrications.

Quality & Precision: Inspect parts visually and conduct precise dimensional measurements using gauges to verify each piece matches strict quality control standards.

Tooling Adjustments: Monitor operational wear and replace perishable machine tooling (such as taps and welding tips) when needed.

Basic Documentation: Perform basic computer entries to record production counts, part status, and workflow efficiency.

Workplace Safety: Keep your station clean and organized while adhering to company safety policies and manufacturing guidelines (ISO14001, IATF16949).

What We Are Looking For

Experience: 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or industrial hands-on roles preferred.

Skills: Strong practical math capabilities, basic computer skills, and a high attention to detail.

Mindset: Dependable attendance for early 5:00 AM starts, strong communication, and a positive, safety-first team attitude.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Physical Effort: Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods on the production floor; regularly lift and move containers weighing up to 50 lbs.

Visual Acuity: Strong close/distance vision, color differentiation, and depth perception to perform detailed inspection tasks.

Work Environment: Active industrial environment subject to mechanical noise (ear protection required), heat, vibrations, and airborne particles.
