We are seeking a Sr. Program Manager to join our NextGen Reservation System program. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing the integration of a new, off-the-shelf SaaS reservation product into our existing technology stack. You will manage a large-scale program, leveraging your experience with reservation systems and large system migrations. While the role is primarily remote, you will be required to travel to our Washington, D.C. office every 4 to 6 weeks for in-person team work sessions, each lasting one work week.

responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the NextGen Reservation System program, focusing on the integration of a new SaaS solution with our existing technology infrastructure.
- Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related activities, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Oversee the end-to-end migration of our legacy reservation system to the new platform.
- Ensure all program deliverables are met on time and within scope, aligning with business objectives.
- Mitigate program risks and resolve issues proactively to maintain project momentum.
qualifications:
- Proven experience managing large-scale programs, preferably within the travel or transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of reservation systems, with a deep understanding of their complexities and dependencies.
- Demonstrated experience with large reservation system migrations.
- Familiarity with SaaS product implementations and integrating them into a complex technology stack.
- Preferred: Experience with passenger rail systems, as they differ significantly from airline systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with a requirement for regular travel to Washington, D.C.
