We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior SailPoint IdentityNow Developer to join our client team in the Washington D.C. area. This role is central to enhancing and maintaining the client's Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) framework, focusing specifically on the SailPoint IdentityNow cloud platform. The ideal candidate will leverage their 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and implement complex custom code, workflows, rules, and configurations that translate technical specifications into robust business solutions. Working closely with the existing IAM team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the security and efficiency of identity lifecycle management, access reviews, and governance processes across the enterprise.

responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Solutions: Design, develop, and test complex custom code, rules, workflows, and configurations within SailPoint IdentityNow to meet defined business and security requirements.
- Technical Coding: Utilize advanced technical skills in Java/J2EE, Bean Shell/JavaScript, PowerShell, and JSON to deliver high-quality, documented solutions and testing artifacts for new features and enhancements.
- Integration Management: Configure and maintain seamless integrations between IdentityNow and critical enterprise systems, including MS Active Directory, Azure, Office365, ServiceNow, and various PAM solutions.
- Governance Development: Design and develop Access Reviews and custom reports using search queries, supporting the organization's Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Access Governance, and Segregation of Duties (SOD) policies.
- Best Practices: Adhere to established SSD/SSB best practices, utilize source control (e.g., bitbucket), and manage work items within an agile framework (e.g., Jira).
- System Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization for performance and stability across the IdentityNow platform.
qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing solutions on the SailPoint IdentityNow platform.
Technical Stack: Expert-level proficiency in Java/J2EE, scripting languages like Bean Shell/JavaScript and PowerShell, and data serialization formats such as JSON and Shell Scripting.
Database Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS), including writing complex queries in SQL / Oracle.
IGA Expertise: Deep conceptual and practical knowledge of IGA standards and protocols, including SCIM, OAUTH, REST API, and SAML.
Tool Proficiency: Experience using development tools like VSCode and source control platforms like bitbucket and project management systems like Jira.
IAM Concepts: Comprehensive understanding of core Identity Management concepts, including Role Based Access Control, Access Governance, Identity Lifecycle Management, and SOD Policies.
