Randstad is seeking a high-caliber ServiceNow IRM Solutions Consultant for a strategic 6-8 month engagement with a key public-sector client in Washington, DC. This role serves as the critical bridge between Risk Management theory and technical execution, providing both executive-level advisory and hands-on functional configuration. You will partner with IT and Risk stakeholders to architect a scalable risk framework-covering entity structures, risk statements, and scoring methodologies-while ensuring the platform is optimized for sustainable reporting and audit readiness. This is a hybrid opportunity (local to DC) designed for a consultant who excels at translating complex regulatory requirements into streamlined ServiceNow workflows.

responsibilities:
Framework Architecture: Advise stakeholders on leading practices for structuring entity alignments, risk frameworks, and scoring methodologies within ServiceNow IRM.
Platform Enablement: Lead the functional setup and refinement of the risk register, ensuring high data integrity and clear ownership across the IRM data model.
Traceability & Integration: Optimize workflows for issue intake and remediation, ensuring seamless linkage between risks, controls, and evidence for audit transparency.
Strategic Advisory: Partner with IT and Third-Party Risk teams to align digital assets, vendors, and business functions with the overarching risk posture.
Reporting & Insights: Design and deploy executive-level dashboards and reports that translate raw IRM data into actionable, decision-useful risk intelligence.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with platform admins to ensure IRM configurations are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with broader ServiceNow environment standards.
qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance, or Internal Audit, with a strong focus on digital transformation.
Technical Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience configuring ServiceNow IRM/GRC modules (specifically Risk, Policy & Compliance, and Issue Management).
Framework Familiarity: Deep understanding of industry-standard frameworks such as NIST, ISO, COSO, or SOX.
Public Sector Savvy: Prior experience navigating the regulatory complexities of public-sector agencies or large-scale infrastructure organizations is highly preferred.
Soft Skills: Exceptional ability to facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders and document complex technical requirements for non-technical audiences.
Certification: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Risk and Compliance is strongly desired.
