responsibilities:
Key Focus Areas & Responsibilities

Technology Controls Automation

- Design and implement automated technology and data controls embedded within application, database, and reporting layers.

- Develop control monitoring, validation, and evidence-generation capabilities to support audit, risk, and compliance requirements.

- Integrate controls into CI/CD pipelines, data workflows, and operational dashboards to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.

Database Migration, Development & Modernization

- Lead or contribute to database and application migration initiatives, including legacy-to-modern platform transitions (on prem, cloud, or hybrid).

- Design, refactor, and optimize schemas, stored procedures, views, and ETL/ELT pipelines across Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments.

- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and parity checks to ensure accuracy and completeness during migrations and cutovers.

- Support operational readiness, performance tuning, and post migration stabilization.

Analytics & Reporting Enablement

- Develop and maintain analytical data models and reporting solutions using Power BI, enabling insights into operational health, controls effectiveness, and business performance.

- Partner with stakeholders to translate technical and risk requirements into clear, actionable dashboards and metrics.

AI & Machine Learning Enablement

- Support the operationalization of machine learning outputs within enterprise data platforms, including feature tables, scoring pipelines, and governed data products.

- Integrate Python or R models, or approved cloud ML services, into data workflows.

- Deliver predictive and insight-driven dashboards (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection) with appropriate governance, monitoring, and controls.

 
qualifications:
Required Qualifications

- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, consulting, training, military experience, or education.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server development and administration.

- Experience supporting database migrations, schema refactoring, and data validation activities.

- Experience developing or supporting Power BI dashboards and data models.

- Solid understanding of Software Engineering fundamentals, SDLC, data management practices, and enterprise compliance expectations.

Desired Experience

- Exposure to technology risk, controls automation, or regulated environments.

- Experience modernizing legacy data or application platforms.

- Familiarity with AI/ML integration into data platforms and analytics solutions."

Additional Skills:

1) AI & Machine Learning enablement: ability to operationalize ML outputs in data platforms (feature tables, scoring pipelines), integrate Python/R models or cloud ML services, and deliver predictive/insight dashboards (forecasting, anomaly detection) with governance and monitoring.

2) Database & application migration / modernization: experience migrating legacy database/application workloads (e.g., on‑prem → cloud/hybrid), refactoring schemas and ETL, validating data parity, and executing cutover plans with minimal downtime and robust operational readiness.
