We are seeking an expert Tableau Developer to join our Commercial Growth Analytics team. This role is designed for a technical specialist who views data visualization as both a science and an art. You will serve as the primary architect for our enterprise-level reporting suite, transforming complex commercial datasets into high-performance, interactive dashboards. The ideal candidate is a Tableau power-user who can navigate the entire lifecycle of a dashboard-from intricate LOD calculations and data modeling to Tableau Server administration and UI/UX optimization.

responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and deploy performant Tableau dashboards that provide strategic insights into commercial growth and New Product Introduction (NPI) metrics.
· Leverage sophisticated Tableau features, including Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, nested parameters, and complex sets, to execute advanced multi-dimensional analysis.
· Audit the existing workbook library to identify redundancies. Consolidate and "sunset" legacy content to maintain a streamlined, certified set of enterprise dashboards.
· Manage the Commercial Server environment, including project hierarchies, user permissions, and the maintenance of Certified Data Sources.
· Collaborate with data engineers to optimize the connection between Tableau and the Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring efficient data blending and joining strategies.
· Champion data visualization best practices, ensuring all dashboards are intuitive, follow a logical "storytelling" flow, and meet strict brand and performance standards.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or quantitative field.
- 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience focused specifically on Tableau Desktop and Server development.
- Expert-level knowledge of Tableau Desktop, with a proven ability to solve complex data problems using intricate calculated fields and LODs.
- Strong working knowledge of Tableau Server infrastructure, including site administration, capability provisioning, and workbook performance tuning.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries to extract and validate data from relational databases.
- Experience working within the Snowflake cloud data platform.
- Tableau Desktop or Server Certified Professional designations are highly preferred.
