Randstad is seeking a strategic and hands-on Physical Security Operations Center (PSOC) Analyst to help establish and scale a brand-new physical security command center for a major critical infrastructure client in Wilmington, DE. Moving away from traditional cybersecurity, this foundational role is heavily geared toward physical security command center operations, enterprise access control, and life safety. The selected candidate will initially work a stable Monday-Friday day shift, acting as the primary pilot to weed through system inputs, establish baseline metrics, and author standard operating policies and procedures. As the department matures, this position will help scale and transition the command center into a fully staffed 24/7 operational environment.

responsibilities:
Program Foundations: Analyze current system inputs to establish operational baselines, develop workflows, and draft standard operating policies and procedures for the growing PSOC.

Command Center Monitoring: Monitor enterprise Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), Access Control Systems (ACS), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to maintain continuous situational awareness.

Triage & Escalation: Validate and triage real-time physical security alarm activations; initiate swift internal and external notifications to emergency services, law enforcement, and security leadership during critical events.

System Health Tracking: Identify physical security control degradation, technical gaps, or troubleshooting needs to ensure continuous operational readiness.

Documentation & Evidence: Maintain precise, time-stamped logs of shift activities and preserve digital evidence in strict alignment with chain-of-custody protocols.

Compliance & Risk Reporting: Support enterprise risk registers and compliance efforts (such as ISO internal audits) by analyzing trends and identifying recurring physical vulnerabilities.

 
qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years in a physical security operations center (PSOC/GSOC), corporate command center, emergency law enforcement dispatch, or a similar high-pressure operational environment.

Technical Acumen: Direct experience utilizing enterprise-grade physical security platforms (e.g., Genetec, Lenel) and incident management software.

Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain critical system clearances, including the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN).

Industry Frameworks: Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for physical security (e.g., ASIS, APTA, ANSI, ISC).

Flexibility: Ability to work fully on-site in Wilmington, DE, and adaptability to transition to a rotating 24/7 schedule (including nights, weekends, and holidays) as the team expands.

Communication & Crisis Management: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to remain calm under pressure, synthesize complex data during emergencies, and professionally brief senior leadership.

Administrative Tools: High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
