Randstad is seeking a highly skilled Senior EAM Project Manager for a strategic staff augmentation engagement with a premier infrastructure client in the Washington, D.C. area. This critical role sits at the heart of the Infrastructure Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) workstream, driving the delivery of large-scale IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) implementations and business transformation efforts within a rail infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will possess a PMP certification and bring over a decade of experience bridging the gap between complex technology and transit operations. Central to success in this role is exceptional stakeholder engagement and management skills, enabling the candidate to navigate competing priorities, align cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful execution of high-demand infrastructure projects.

responsibilities:
Program Delivery & Governance: Lead the execution of complex EAM initiatives within formal PMO frameworks (PMBOK/Stage-Gate), ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.

IBM Maximo Implementation: Drive the deployment, optimization, and business process transformation of the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) across rail and linear asset portfolios.

Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate high-level workshops, steering committee meetings, and documentation sessions to align requirements and build consensus between technical delivery teams and operational transit stakeholders.

Strategic Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between Capital Delivery, Architecture, IT Operations, and Cybersecurity teams to ensure technical feasibility and operational alignment.

Data-Driven Insights: Utilize tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Jira to develop complex data sets, dashboards, and visualizations that support executive decision-making.

Risk & Compliance: Manage technology risks and ensure all infrastructure assets adhere to rigorous cybersecurity and regulatory compliance requirements.

 
qualifications:
Critical "Must-Have" Requirements:

IBM Maximo MAS Experience: Proven track record of successfully delivering IBM Maximo MAS implementations or major upgrade initiatives.

PMP Certification: Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strictly required.

Rail Industry Expertise: Direct experience managing project delivery within a rail, transit, or linear asset-intensive environment.

Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated mastery in stakeholder engagement, with the proven ability to influence without authority and navigate complex organizational structures.

Additional Qualifications:

Experience: 10+ years of progressive project management experience within large-scale infrastructure environments.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Software Proficiency: Expert-level command of project and analysis tools, including MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucid, and the MS Office Suite.

Systems Integration: Experience supporting complex integrations between EAM platforms and ERP, GIS, SCADA, or external data platforms.

Industry Standards: Knowledge of asset lifecycle processes and familiarity with ISO 55000 or IAM standards is a significant plus.
