responsibilities:
Operate as a business partner to the other Department Heads while providing insight
and counsel relative to areas of strategic planning, business analytics, growth, risk management and technology leadership.
Proactively communicate challenges and opportunities and recommend potential
solutions/courses of action.
Develop, mentor and coach the team to create and maintain a cohesive, business-
focused team
Evaluating, developing, implementing and managing IT projects in line with organizational objectives within set timelines.
Ensuring the maintenance of current projects and technology systems.
Identifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement.
Proposing strategic solutions and recommending new systems and software.
Preparing and managing financial budgets and performance reports.
Building and maintaining relationships with external advisors and vendors.
Ensuring reported issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Identifies and mitigates security risks.
qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of senior management experience in IT, with at least 10 years supporting manufacturing operations or industrial environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing technologies, automation, and systems integration.
- Proof of continued education, such as software certifications, is required.
- Cloud services management (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Sound working knowledge of IT operations, systems, reporting, and developments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
