I am currently partnering with a premier hotel property here in Las Vegas to find an experienced AR Specialist to join their accounting team. In this role, you will manage the full cycle of guest billing and city ledgers, ensuring accurate invoicing for individual guests, corporate accounts, and large group events. You will also handle daily payment applications (wires, ACH, credit cards), research chargebacks, and conduct polite but firm follow-ups on aging reports to minimize bad debt.salary: $20 - $24 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesey Responsibilities Guest Billing & Invoicing: Generate and distribute accurate invoices for individual guests, corporate accounts, and group events. Ensure all backup documentation is attached and compliant with hotel standards. Payment Application: Post daily wires, credit card settlements, and ACH payments to the appropriate guest ledgers and city ledgers. Dispute Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for guest billing inquiries and credit card chargebacks. Research discrepancies and process adjustments or refunds where necessary. Deposit Management: Facilitate the processing of physical checks and remote deposits. Reconcile daily cash drops from front office departments. Collections: Monitor aging reports and conduct polite but firm follow-ups on outstanding balances to minimize bad debt. Administrative Support: Maintain organized financial records, assist with month-end closing procedures, and provide support for internal audits. Qualifications Experience: 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or General Accounting. Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is strongly preferred. Technical Skills: * Proficiency in LMS (Lodging Management System) or similar Property Management Systems (PMS) is highly desired. We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee our billing operations, with a specific focus on Anesthesia billing and advanced Denials Management. The ideal candidate will be a "claims detective" who understands the nuances of denials and revenue cycle and team leadership.
