job summary: An Electronics Technician is needed for a technology company that designs and manufactures connectors and sensors for several industries, such as automotive, industrial equipment, data communication systems, and more, in the Middletown, PA area. This is a hands-on lab role focused on the precision soldering, validation testing, and technical rework of high-speed data cables and circuit boards within a global cross-functional engineering team. location: Middletown, Pennsylvania job type: Contract salary: $21.43 - 30.00 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Associates responsibilities: Execute verification and validation testing for high-speed cable assemblies used in datacenters and wireless infrastructure.Perform precision rework of small electronic devices, including soldering and de-soldering active components and discrete devices on PCBs.Manage inventory for lab supplies and cables required for internal development and customer qualification.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and operations departments.Navigate and solve challenging design and testing problems to ensure product success.Maintain strict adherence to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures.Communicate effectively across global environments and varying time zones.Utilize an Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field to understand circuit boards and basic circuitry.Apply motivation and quick learning abilities to work independently with minimal supervision. Skills: Familiarity with electronics circuit boards and basic circuits.Expert in soldering of small electronic components.Familiarity with ESD handling procedure.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
