Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler & Soldering Technician to join our production team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for both the precise mechanical assembly of components and sub-assemblies, as well as performing expert soldering on intricate electronic boards and wires. The ideal candidate will possess strong manual dexterity, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing top-quality work in a fast-paced environment.salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 4 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Mechanical Assembly: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings to accurately assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and finished products. Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fixtures for assembly tasks. Perform light fabrication, drilling, tapping, and reaming as needed. Inspect mechanical assemblies for proper fit, function, and quality, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications. Soldering & Rework: Perform precise through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and various electronic components. Conduct rework and repair of soldering defects using appropriate tools and techniques. Wire and harness assembly, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering wires to connectors and terminals. Inspect solder joints for quality, ensuring compliance with IPC-A-610 standards. Use magnification equipment (microscopes) for fine pitch soldering and inspection. General Responsibilities: Perform quality checks on completed work using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc.). Identify and report any discrepancies, defects, or production issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, strictly adhering to ESD protocols and company safety guidelines.
