job summary: Manufacturer in St. Louis is seeking an Electromechanical Designer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will be an active participant in the design process, capable of specifying components, understanding machine operations, and ensuring all designs meet NEC/UL safety standards. Must be able to take a concept from a rough sketch to a finished, build-ready 3D assembly in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor. Some travel to customer sites required, 1-2 days once per month. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. location: ST LOUIS, Missouri job type: Permanent salary: $63,000 - 66,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: No Degree Required responsibilities: Independently research and select electrical and mechanical components (sensors, relays, motors, etc.) based on project requirements and operational loads.Develop 3D models and schematics with a deep understanding of how the machine functions in a "real world" environment, not just how it looks on a drawing.Interpret the National Electrical Code (NEC) and UL standards to ensure Industrial Control Panels are designed for safety and compliance from the ground up.Take a concept from a rough sketch to a finished, build-ready 3D assembly in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
